Hi, I’m Sienna! I am twelve and I have a passion for lots of things. I love to sing, dance and one of my favorite things is to perform on stage. I love to be in the spotlight; I’d never say no to being onstage singing or acting.
I also love to be crafty and creative, and since I’m home schooled I have a lot of time for that. I have a string of lanterns above my bed, and whenever I would un-plug them, the extension cord would fall to the ground. So, I thought of an idea! I put a hair elastic on the extension cord, and I pushed a thumbtack in my wall. Now I can un-plug the lanterns, and hang the hair elastic on the tack. It won’t fall anymore!
I have an amazing mom, an awesome dad and two sisters; Hayden is 10 and Bella is 8.
I want to be an inspiration to girls. My mom says my sister’s friends look up to me. This blog is for ages 9+. It’s going to be fun and happy, and I want to encourage and inspire other girls around my age. Here are some of my ideas that you can expect to see:
I love style and fashion. I like to accessorize and find the perfect outfit for each day.
As I’ve said earlier, I love doing creative crafts that cost almost nothing.
I am going to talk about friendship, and how to handle yourself by being a nice girl and not a mean girl. Or when you want to leave a friends house because you feel uncomfortable, but you don’t want to be rude, Escape plan!
I also have some fun ideas of what to do when you’re hanging out with a friend.
When you’re a kid, you don’t really have a big allowance, so when it’s your sibling’s birthday, I know just the gift.
And how are you supposed to decorate your bedroom when you don’t want to over power your walls with hearts or Easter bunnies?
I have just the crafts for holidays!
I also want to do TV, movie and book reviews. I have a lot of favorite books. Like, The Hunger Games series, Orphan Island, and Kisses from Katie.
Something you might want to know is that I have Tourette syndrome. Tourette’s is something I was born with. My dad has it too. A short way to say it is ‘tics’. Tics make me do this thing with my eyes that I have been doing since I was little. And I have to crack my knuckles, there is more too. I have to do theses things or else I go crazy.
So, let me just tell you, no one is perfect. No one. Only God. Everyone is unique in their own special way. Whether you’re really good at soccer, or gymnastics, or math, or even the weirdest things.
I love to write songs. I have been singing songs since I was really little, and I still do.
I love to play piano, guitar and ukulele. I learned how to play recorder in grade four (which, in my opinion, sounds like a dying dolphin), and I don’t think I’ll play it ever again! Most songs I’ve made are on the piano. My dad taught me how to play piano when I was about eight. He only showed me a few notes, but somehow I know how to read music, and I taught myself until now.
I also love to act. I am working on my sixth musical. The first musical I have ever been in, was Peter Pan. I did that in grade three and played the role of Tinkerbell. Next was Annie. I was an orphan and other extra roles. In my third play I was Pinocchio in the show Shrek. Then I did The Lion King, and I was Nala. Then I was Sebastian in The Little Mermaid. Now I am in the musical Peter Pan again but this time I am Peter Pan!
Anyway, those are some of my passions and some things I am good at. Remember, everyone is good at something, and everyone is unique. What makes you unique?
