10 Book Series You Will Love

I love to read! I read a book a day (Or that’s how it seems)! And sometimes I don’t know what to read at all, then I’m stuck and I have to read something I have already read, which I don’t like. Have you ever felt like that? Well, no need to worry, I have some books that I love and want to share with you:

The Glimmer Girls Series

I love the Glimmer Girls! Natalie Grant is the author, and it is a Christian book series. It is about three girls who travel with their family because their mom goes on tour. It is adventurous, fun, and so much more. There are four books in the series.

The current American Girl books

Tenney is about a girl who lives in Nashville; she loves making music with her guitar. I love these books because I relate to Tenney as I love writing music too.

Gabriela is the 2017 girl of the year. It is about a dancer who loves her school, Liberty. When the school has a blackout she won’t be able to do the show without the lights! She has to figure out how to raise enough money to bring Liberty back to life.

Tumtum & Nutmeg Series

My mom read these books aloud when I was younger. My mom used different voices and I loved the adventure. I loved the books so much that I re-read them when I was nine. They’re really good! It is about mice that live under a dresser of a poor family. Their aunt doesn’t like rodents and tries to get rid of them. The children must work together to save Tumtum and Nutmeg. It is a suspenseful, fun read.

The Critter Club Series

I would suggest these books for eight year olds. I don’t read them now, but I liked them when I was young. It is good for learners that are just starting to read chapter books on their own.

The Babysitters Club Series

The Babysitters Club is really good for ages 10 and up. Hayden at 8 started reading the first book and she didn’t like it. I loved them until book 117ish. Yep, I have read over one hundred of them. They start to bog down a bit after book 100 or so but I love them. There is a comic book version, but I prefer the novels.

The Adventures of Sophie Mouse Series

My sisters read Sophie Mouse. It has big writing with pictures and it is good for beginners.

It is an adorable series about an 8 year old mouse, Sophie and her forest friends.

I have listened when they read it aloud, and it is good for 5-9 year olds.

The Never Girls Series

The Never girls is for 9 and up. It is about four girls who go through their fence, closet, etc., and enter Neverland! They go on adventures with Tinkerbell, and the other fairies. This is a good one. I feel like I enter Neverland with them!

Whatever After Series

The Whatever After series is a great one. I love it! It is filled with magic and fun. A girl named Abby finds out that her mirror in her basement could bring her and her little brother Jonah into a fairy tale. Depending on what they’re wearing, they get scooped up into a fairy tale. For example, in one book, Abby and Jonah were wearing the colour of the flag in Cinderella. So, they got brought to that story. This is a good one for nine and up.

Sleepover Squad Series

Hayden reads The Sleepover Squad. She said it’s good and fun. She said it is about a girl who has four brothers. I am guessing that this book is for ages 8-9 year olds.

The Tales of the Wide-Awake Princess Series

I have only read eight chapters of The Bravest Princess so far, but it is really good.

The Bravest Princess is one of the many books in the series. At the library, they didn’t have all the books, so I got the second, third, and fourth. It is a great book as far as I can tell. I would say this book is for ages ten and up.
