Elevate Your Next Family Movie Night
Looking for a way to elevate your next quarantine movie day? We did just that. My girls had requested a Disney theme day and I joyfully obliged! The girls were surprised waking up to Cruella DeVille making their breakfast.
For Breakfast I made egg in a Mickey. Er, um, possibly, Pooh Bear. No judgement k? I improvised after my Mickey cookie cutter was too big for the bread. The kids laughed but appreciated the effort.
Once the girls saw my costumes, they jumped into action working on costumes of their own. I’m always amazed at their creativity.
Even Kenzie our boxer got in on the action as Ariel. Hayden said she knew Minions are Dreamworks, not Disney but she was excited to be a minion anyways.
I had extra candy melts on hand so I put the Mickey cookie cutter to use and redeemed my breakfast fail! We continued with our schooling, girls had online tutor then watched two Disney movies the girls have never seen, Snow White and Princess and the Frog.
Such a fun day requiring no prep and little effort on my end. If you’re needing a mix-up in your mundane schooling, you’ll find kids are motivated to do any schoolwork in costume, especially when taught by a super villain!
Have fun!
